CARERS who neglect their health are the focus of a Derwentside publicity drive.
Stanley Carers Group will have information stalls in the Clifford Road Health Centre and the Tanfield View Surgery, on Wednesday.
Information will include details of the group meetings, Barnardos' Young Carers Group and The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, at Delves Lane, Consett.
The publicity drive is aimed at reminding carers to look after themselves.
The group is also appealing for a singer to appear on an expenses-only basis at an American theme night at Stanley Civic Hall, on July 4.
The party, for carers and guests, needs a singer to perform for 40 minutes. Anyone willing to help can contact Helen Steel on (01207) 218860.
