A COMMUNITY award is helping to put a theatre group in the picture.
The North Eastern Co-op's community dividend fund gave a grant of £850 to the Open clasp Theatre Company to buy a digital camera and camcorder.
Set up three years ago, the Newcastle group works with young mothers and outreach groups throughout the North-East, and aims to use drama and film to highlight women's issues and experiences.
The first project with the equipment will involve a group of mothers from Gateshead.
