MOTOR dealer Richard Hardie has expanded its operations into Sunderland, thanks to help from a Chester-le-Street legal firm.
Gordon Brown Associates helped the Peugeot dealership with a move to Newcastle Road, Sunderland, creating 40 jobs.
The dealer already has operations in Chester-le-Street, Hebburn and Ashington.
Gordon Brown, senior partner at Gordon Brown Associates, has worked with Richard Hardie Peugeot for more than ten years.
He said: "It is great to see a North-East business such as Richard Hardie Peugeot expanding and developing.
"We are delighted to play our small part in that development."
Philip Hardie, managing director of Richard Hardie Peugeot, said: "We have had to work to very tight schedules to ensure this deal went through on time.
"Gordon Brown played an instrumental role in ensuring all the deadlines were met."
