The A174, linking east Cleveland to Whitby, will be closed at Apple Orchard Bank, Skelton, for two weeks from Sunday to reconstruct existing services and do extensive kerbing and drainage works.
The road will be closed between the traffic signals at Four Lane Ends and the roundabout at the start of the Skelton and Brotton by-pass on Marske Lane.
Apple Orchard Nurseries can still be reached from Four Lane Ends and a temporary diversion will be in operation via the A173, the B1269 and the A174.
