Tim Henman and Goran Ivanisevic must once again wait another day before concluding their semi-final after rain brought play to a halt on centre court today.

Henman, 26, aimed to go out with all guns blazing against Goran Ivanisevic in their semi-final showdown but like yesterday, rain has once again brought play to an abrupt halt.

His guns were spiked when the planned 1pm start was shelved as heavy downpours hit SW19 and once again at 6.30pm with Ivanisevic leading the fifth set at 3-2.

Henman was set to put Croat wildman Ivanisevic to the sword when rain stopped play last night and will now have to wait until Sunday before resuming play after the weather once again played its wicked part on Saturday evening.

As a result, the women's final between Justine Henin and Venus Williams will now have to take place on Sunday after they were due to take to centre court after the Henman/Ivanisevic clash.

Henman will be no doubt fired up by the prospect of facing Aussie Pat Rafter in the final which could now take place on Monday.

Resuming play today, Ivanisevic claimed the fourth set after a tie break, 7-6 and was leading the fifth, 3-2 before the heavens opened.

Tomorrow Tiger Tim will stride back on to Centre Court in an effort to make tennis history.
