A book about past and present life in Spennymoor has been published,
Millennium Memories of Spennymoor has been compiled by two local men, former headteacher Tony Coia, and professional photographer George Teasdale.
Interest has already been high, and copies have been sent to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the US.
The book costs £9.95 and is available from Spennymoor Town Hall, on (01388) 814396, as well as a number of local shops, including The Studio, 75 High Street, on (01388) 814396.
