LANDLADY Margaret Rose Mackenzie was celebrating after scoring a colourful hat-trick in her town's floral competition.
She has been the licensee of the Angel Inn, in Easingwold's market square, for only a year - but the pub won three awards in the contest.
It took the top award, best overall display, as well as the best summer display for commercial premises and best display in the market area.
"It was absolutely brilliant," she said. "We couldn't believe we had won, but it was such a nice surprise as it is our first year here."
