A DARLINGTON animal sanctuary is looking for a home for two young dogs which have fallen victim to changes in their owners' circumstances.

Sam and Sally are two-year-old Jack Russell terriers being cared for by the National Animal Sanctuary Support League (NASSL).

They have come from separate households.

Sam's owners have left the area and although his old housemate, a Lurcher called Gemma, has been rehomed, he is still waiting for a loving person to care for him.

Sally's owners split up and could no longer look after her, and so she too is looking for a new home.

Pauline Wilson, from the sanctuary, said: "They've both ended up here through an all too common story. But they're lovely little dogs that will make great pets."

Anyone able to offer either of the dogs a good home should contact NASSL on (01325) 321855.
