GO-KARTING fans are being asked to take part in a local heat of a national competition in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The charity's Go Karting Endurance Challenge takes place at Teesside Karting, in Middlesbrough, on Sunday, November 18.
The winning team will go forward to the final in January when the prize is to spend a day out as guests of the Peugeot Motor Sport Team.
Susie Fothergill, community fundraising manager for the charity, said: "Teams of five are needed to enter the first round, to test their driving skills and tactics to the extreme in the sponsored competition. Why not get together with friends or workmates for what promises to be a really hot competition?"
