HE has streaked at FA Cup finals, ran nude across TV weather maps and even bared his bum at Crufts, but on Saturday Mark Roberts turned his attention to a pretty little Dales town.

HE has dropped his pants in some of the world's most celebrated venues - but over the weekend it was the turn of a tiny village to get a full frontal view of Mark Roberts.

The serial streaker, who has bared all almost 200 times in the last nine years, braved the coldest night of the autumn so far to bare all for charity on Saturday.

A stunned silence fell on the packed pubs of normally sedate Reeth as the Scouser, who has become Britain's celebrity streaker, made his entrance au naturalle.

Locals were enjoying an ordinary night out in the pubs in the small village, set in the idyllic Yorkshire Dales, when Mark Roberts walked into The King's Arms wearing nothing but a smile to raise money for a terminally ill four-year-old girl.

Then, throwing caution to the wind, he embarked on a bizarre naked pub crawl, walking into every hostelry in the village demanding a donation and even knocking on people's doors.

Mark interrupted people's evening meals asking them if they would like to see what was on the menu, and joked with boozers: "Does my bum look big in this?"

"I don't give a damn," he said. "It's all about having a laugh, and raising money for a good cause. If I can help this little girl by getting my kit off, then so be it. It's worth it."

Emily Guiney, from Ayrshire, has a malignant tumour. Doctors have given her just two to six months to live after chemotherapy and two major operations failed to cure her.

To make her last months as wonderful as possible, her grandmother Margaret Guiney, from Richmond, started the Emily's Disney Dream Fund to raise £10,000 to take her to Disney World.

The streak was organised by Jonathon Stones of Langthwaite, with locals sponsoring Mark, 36 from Liverpool, to get his kit off and streak through the local pubs.

Mark is well-known in the area after streaking during the hill run at Reeth Show two years ago.

Around £1,000 was raised through the streak at the weekend, with ex-footballer turned film star Vinnie Jones, also sponsoring him after hearing about the appeal while grouse shooting in the area.

Mark first began his naked ambition with a streak during the Rugby Sevens, when the All Blacks played South Africa in Hong Kong in 1992.

Since then he has completed 185 streaks at a variety of sporting events, including Wimbledon, the Grand National, FA Cup Finals and the Golf Open.

He has also appeared in the buff on They Think It's All Over, on Fred's weather map on This Morning and even streaked at Crufts with Pedigree Bum written on his back.

He is so well known his website at www.thestreaker.org.uk receives around 3,000 hits a week.

He said: "I've nothing to be proud of down there, but it's about making people laugh and having fun. I used to get a bit self conscious at first, but I love the laugh and when you see 50,000 people having a laugh too you forget about it."

During his 15-minute streak around Reeth on Saturday, Mark collected £150, which will go towards a gift of Emily's choice.
