WITH foot-and-mouth disease loosening its stranglehold on North Yorkshire, Richmondshire Ramblers has released provisional dates for its winter walking programme.
Leaders have been assigned the task of picking routes which avoid areas still closed due to restrictions, and some last-minute changes may be necessary as a result.
However, all walks leave the Nun's Close Car Park, in Richmond, at 9am every Sunday.
The club's annual meeting will be held at Swaledale Outdoor Club in New Road, from 7.15pm on Friday, November 23. Refreshments and a talk will follow the election of officers.
