A North-East design and project management practice has been chosen to refurbish a Cotswolds hotel.
Following its success at Seaham Hall, County Durham, Ward Robinson, of Newcastle, has been commissioned for the £600,000 project to create a luxury hotel in Chipping Campden for owners Ian and Christina Taylor.
Mr Taylor, former general manager at Crown Plaza Heathrow, contacted Ward Robinson after visiting Seaham Hall and being impressed by the luxury property.
Jill Holst, design director at Ward Robinson, said: "We are delighted to have won the commission, and particularly pleased that another out-of-region contract has been awarded to a North-East-based firm.
"The design brief will aim to create a unique Cotswolds hotel, with a strong emphasis on sophistication and striking a perfect balance between traditional comfort and a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere."
She said: "We are focusing on the intimacy and warmth of a privately-run hotel.
