A TEMPORARY centre ice rink will be the main attraction at a Christmas market in Spennymoor.
The German-style Weihnachtsmarkt will run from Saturday, December 8, until January 6.
Sedgefield Borough Council, Spennymoor Town Council and local businesses have joined forces to stage the market.
Christmas lights and German-style market stalls around the band stand will transform Spennymoor town centre.
Market stalls to sell arts and crafts, or items linked with the festive season, or seasonal catering stalls, such as roasted chestnuts sellers, can be hired for a negotiable fee.
