THE National Glass Centre in Sunderland is celebrating National Glass Week from November 3 to 10.
The centre will hold a series of events, including a talk about collecting glass by Dan Klein, of Phillips auctioneers, on Saturday.
There will be University of Sunderland workshops, a hot glass studio and demonstrations of kiln, blown and architectural glass techniques between 2pm and 5pm.
On Sunday there will be a seminar from 10am to 5pm on Glass and the Art Market, while on Monday there will be demonstrations of glass engraving throughout the day.
