THE third production to pump cash into one of the region's theatrical treasures opens tonight.
The Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond, North Yorkshire, has already benefited from evenings of jazz and opera. Tonight, at 7.30pm, it is the turn of comedy, as North Country Theatre stages 2001 A Space Idiocy - a spoof on the Arthur C Clarke story.
Tickets, priced from £5, include a finger buffet. A second performance is staged tomorrow.
