AMERICAN actress Shawnee Smith will bring her hard rock band Fydolla Ho to the North-East this month.
The star has appeared in films including Armageddon and Who's Harry Crumb, having started out playing an orphan in the 1982 John Houston film, Annie.
And on television, she has appeared in shows such as the X-Files, while continuing with the band.
During their debut UK tour, Fydolla Ho will be playing at Trillians, in Newcastle, on Sunday, November 18, and the Tap and Spile, in Darlington, on the following night.
On Sunday, November 25, they will be returning to the region for a show at Fibbers, in York.
