DARLINGTON grounded out their first victory under new boss Tommy Taylor with a 1-0 win over Oxford United at Feethams on Saturday.
Brian Healy, making his debut after joining on a short-term deal on Friday, stooped to head home the decisive goal midway through the second half of a fairly even game.
Oxford created as many if not more chances than Quakers with Paul Moody and Manny Omoyinmi both looking dangerous.
However, the home side managed to hang on to give Taylor his first points as Quakers boss.
