THE most promising wordsmiths in Redcar and Cleveland are being sought for a spoken word competition, organised by Cleveland Arts.
The City Learning Centre for Redcar and Cleveland is hosting a performance, poetry and spoken word competition for young poets, rappers, writers and performers throughout east Cleveland.
The competition aims to find people who can establish a network and a possible performance squad and the entrants will get the chance to perform their material live at the Witch-Words Event during the centre's Arts Gala Week, beginning on January 28.
The deadline for entries is Monday, January 7.
