A VILLAGE will be lit up for the first time over the festive period.
Carlin How has never before had Christmas lights and decorations, but local residents group Change (Carlin How Against Neglected General Environments) has raised enough cash to buy just three decorative lights. The group's Linda White said: "It might not be much but it is all that we can afford."
