AN advice centre is to receive a £2,000 grant from the district council.
The Housing Advice Research Project (Harp), in Northallerton, is the only specialist housing advice agency working across North Yorkshire. It offers help and advice to people with housing problems.
Cabinet spokesman on housing, Councillor Len Groves, said: "Harp provides independent housing advice which has helped us to reduce homelessness in Hambleton."
