SIR Paul McCartney and former North-East model Heather Mills are to marry in showbiz wedding in the Scottish Highlands, it has been revealed.
The celebrated couple will follow in the footsteps of Madonna and Guy Ritchie by tying the knot at the secluded Skibo Castle.
Sir Paul, 59, and Ms Mills, 33, chose the venue after a secret visit earlier this year.
They announced their engagement in July, three-and-a-half years after McCartney's wife of nearly 30 years died of cancer.
McCartney has said that Ms Mills, who lost a leg when she was hit by a motorcycle, has been an inspiration to his music.
The wedding, where Ms Mills will wear a dress made by McCartney's fashion designer daughter Stella, is expected to be in the spring
