A woman was attacked as she collected money for an insurance company.
The woman, who was working for Provident Insurance, was left shaken but otherwise unhurt after the thief grabbed money from her, in Killingworth, north Newcastle, at about 5pm on Monday.
Her attacker was tall and wore dark clothing with a dark woollen hat. Anyone with information is asked to call 0191-454 7555.
