NVISAGE customer contact centre is giving potential recruits a better chance of a job with a new initiative to help develop IT skills.
The company, which is creating 500 jobs in customer services and telesales on the Bracken Hill Business Park in Peterlee, plans to hold a series of free IT courses.
The weekly courses will teach potential nvisage recruits basic skills such as using a PC, creating documents and becoming familiar with a keyboard.
Once they feel confident enough, the candidates will automatically be invited to attend a recruitment event which could lead to a permanent job with the company.
