PARENTS of disabled children will be given an opportunity to meet consultants to discuss plans for a disabled play area in Darlington.
The borough council's play areas for disabled children review group has selected North Lodge Park, off Gladstone Street, as the recommended site for the play area.
The group has agreed to bid for the Government's Valuing People funding, which aims to help young people with complex needs.
Consultants Kids Active will visit North Lodge Park on February 12 to meet parents and look at the area, the council's social affairs and health scrutiny committee will be told next week.
