A COMPETITION winner will have to wait until after a special delivery before she can enjoy her prize.
Vanessa Adams won the word-square competition at Darlington's Queen Street Arcade, and her prize, a £200 hamper, included bottles of wine and champagne.
However, Vanessa, from Darlington, is expecting her second baby in early January and must wait to have her celebratory tipple.
Centre manager Paul Jackson said: "Pleasure delayed is pleasure increased, and the hamper will ensure that she has at least one bottle of champagne to wet the baby's head with, and there are plenty of other goodies which she and all her family can safely enjoy in the meantime."
