THE theft of a horse box has been linked to two similar incidences in east Cleveland during the past year.
Between 10.30pm on December 22 and 9.40am on December 23, a lime green horse box was stolen from Waterfall Farm kennels, in Guisborough.
The box, worth £300, was double-axeled and has four-wheel drive. Its registration number, which is likely to have been ripped off, was M668 SVN.
Cleveland Police said they are linking the theft with two other incidents in the area because, on each occasion, a white car with a tow bar has been seen.
A caravan was stolen in the east Cleveland village of Lingdale in August and last month, an attempt was made to steal a horse box in the village of Dunsdale, on the outskirts of Guisborough.
