FANS of pop band Steps can commiserate with each other over the demise of their idols when a tribute band arrives in the region.
Steps Beyond will be appearing at the Civic Theatre, in Darlington, on April 3.
The band, which performs all Steps' hits, will be appearing alongside a Ronan Keating tribute singer at the theatre.
The booking was made months before Steps announced they were splitting up. The show is now expected to be a sell-out, with fans wanting to relive the Steps magic.
Steps claim the split is amicable and they will all be moving on to new ventures.
The tribute show is being presented by Dream Concerts, which has brought tributes to Westlife and Britney Spears to the region in the past.
Peter Cutchie, head of theatre and the arts in Darlington, said: "These type of shows are ideal for young teenagers."
Tickets can be bought by calling (01325) 486555.
