RETIREMENT has brought very little change for a photographer who started his business nearly 40 years ago.
Although Jack Hendren retired on January 1, he is still putting in a full day's work at his shop in Rosemary Lane, Richmond, North Yorkshire.
The business has been passed to his daughter, Joanne Horn, and her husband, Jeff, who live in Wakefield. However, Mr Hendren must wait until two members of staff are appointed before he can put his feet up.
"I'm 72, way past the usual retirement age, and I felt it was time to step down," said Mr Hendren.
"However, it will be business as usual for the time being, although I do plan a holiday in the summer."
He started the business in 1964 in premises at the bottom of the Market Place, and moved to the present shop in 1971.
