FOUR men appeared in court on Teesside yesterday after police seized crack cocaine with a street value of almost £1,000.
Mark Phipps, 38, of Tranter Road, Beechwood, Middlesbrough, Tyrone White, 30, Shane Ellis, 20, and Glen Spencer, 30, all of London, appeared before Teesside Magistrates' Court charged with possession and intent to supply the drug.
All four were refused bail and were remanded in custody to appear before magistrates again on Monday.
In a separate case at the court, a 38-year-old man was remanded in custody after being charged with possession and intent to supply crack cocaine.
Andrew Williams, of London, was refused bail and will appear before magistrates again next Monday.
