A MAJOR new agricultural event, aiming to show farmers the way ahead following the foot-and-mouth crisis, is to be held at the Great Yorkshire showground.
AgriVision North farming business event takes place at the Harrogate showground on Friday, March 22.
Mr Christopher Hall, of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, said: "AgriVision North will be an opportunity to bring together those who are looking at ways of taking their farming enterprises forward with those presenting the options for change.
"It will be very much a hands-on event with stands, seminars, workshops and demonstrations." They hoped the farming community would see it as valuable opportunity to get together, enjoy the day and advance their businesses.
The event is being organised by the society in association with the Royal Agricultural Society of England. It is one of eight regional exhibitions being staged around the country
