Durham League - Ushaw Moor Catholic Club made a great start to the New Year with a fine three points home win over Sacriston Daisy Hill.

The Club also beat Framwellgate Moor Marquis of Granby in the League Knock Out Cup.

Durham Snooker Club only dropped two points to the visiting Chester-le-Street Garden Farm to strengthen their lead at the top of the table. The Snooker Club's leading player, Michael Rhodes leads the race for the Individual Player of the Year with an unbeaten record from 24 games.

Bishop Auckland League

Early interest has been shown from Tow Law Station Hotel and Crook Coach and Horses as extra teams in joining the league for the new season, which will be organised at the annual meeting to be held in Bishop Auckland King's Head on Tuesday, January 15 (8pm).
