CHART-TOPPING disco diva Sophie Ellis Bextor will be visiting Teesside in April as part of a nationwide tour.
The 22-year-old pop star, who took Spiller's Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) to number one in the charts, will perform at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Wednesday, April 17.
Town hall manager Jean Hewitt said the show was likely to be a sell-out. "It's a very good one to get because we are not the biggest hall. We're really pleased she's chosen to come here."
Tickets for the show cost £15 each. For more details, contact (01642) 242561.
