RESIDENTS can take steps to keeping a New Year resolution, by putting on their walking shoes.
People living in Middlesbrough are being directed to a fun walk around Lingfield Farm, in Coulby Newham, on Sunday, to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
The walk, which is about three miles long, is designed for those who take little or no exercise.
Tees and North East Yorkshire NHS Trust and Middlesbrough Council are among the organisers of the event.
