A TELEVISION presenter is making a flying visit to a new childcare centre.
Kirsten O'Brien, of Children's BBC TV, starring as Peter Pan at the Sunderland Empire, is visiting her native Nunthorpe, to open an Early Years Centre, on Thursday.
A day nursery and out of school facility have been supported by Middlesbrough and Redcar Early Years Development and Childcare Partnerships. A £40,000 Government grant has allowed expansion of the service, provided by Nunthorpe Nurseries Group.
