PUPILS at a Darlington school have been praised for their excellent behaviour.
An Ofsted report for Harrowgate Hill Junior School, praised the way the pupils conducted themselves both inside and outside lessons.
The report stated: "Pupils at Harrowgate Hill Junior School, Darlington, are courteous and polite".
The inspectors also noted how results of national tests at the school were better than the national average.
The inspectors said that the school had very good leadership from teachers who are committed to improving and developing the school without losing the strengths that already exist.
Headteacher John Warburton praised the teachers, non-teaching staff, governors and parents for their "marvellous efforts"
