FAIRY Moonbeam is preparing to cast her magic spell over Jill and Fleshcreep in a new production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Played, respectively, by Susan Edwards, Elizabeth Graydon and Roger Kiddle, they are three of the principal characters in the show by the Northallerton Variety Company.
Described as a good old-fashioned pantomime, the show is suitable for all ages and is being performed at Hambleton Community Centre from Sunday to Saturday, February 2.
The booking office is open in the Boyes store, in the High Street, from 10am to 4pm. Anyone wanting to book by phone is asked to call (01609) 770936 and not Boyes. All profits will go to local charities.
l Hunton Extremely Amateur Dramatic Society is to mark the completion of the village hall refurbishment with its 14th pantomime, Mother Goose. The shows take place tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. Tickets are still available from the shop or at the door for tomorrow and Friday shows - Saturday's performance is sold out - and cost £3 for adults, £2 for children and concessions.
