AN acclaimed theatre group is to perform an adaptation of a classic book in Newton Aycliffe next month.
The Castle Players, from Barnard Castle, are staging Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, at the Greenfield Community and Arts Centre, on February 4.
A Greenfield Community School spokesman said: "The company is performing as part of its regional tour, and this event promises to appeal to all and be a fantastic evening of family entertainment. Many people will be aware of the sell-out annual outdoor Shakespeare production by The Castle Players in the grounds of Bowes Museum."
