TWO four-year-old collies are in search of loving homes.
Barney and Smokey need to find new homes because their owner can no longer cope with them after his circumstances changed.
After contacting the National Animal Sanctuary Support League, in Darlington, for help in re-homing them, Pauline Wilson from the charity got in touch with The Northern Echo's Petwatch column.
She said: "They are lovely dogs, fine with children and other dogs, and can be re-homed together or separately.
"Sadly, the owner has had to move back in with his parents and they already have a dog. The house just is not big enough for all of them, and they can't cope."
Anyone wanting to offer a home to one or both of the dogs can contact the National Animal Sanctuary Support League on (01325) 321855.
