A CALL centre hopes to take on 100 new workers after winning a major contract.
2Touch, based on the Doxford Technology Park in Sunderland, already employs 610 and has seen its workforce grow from 350 in the past year.
The firm, which lists leading companies, including Britvic, NatWest and Toyota, among its existing clients, is not saying yet who the new contract is with.
Stuart Gray, managing director, said: "We can grow the telephony part of the business by a further 100 jobs on a single contract, which is in the pipeline.''
He said he was delighted that the company could keep increasing its workforce.
The company, part of the US-based Acxiom Group, handles customer enquiries, e-commerce and data services and has some sales teams.
