COUNCIL tenants are being invited to comment on new tenancy agreements.
Wear Valley District Council is making alterations to its tenancy agreements to incorporate changes in legislation since the last contracts were drawn up.
Tenants have been informed and a seminar was held last night to enable councillors, officers and tenant representatives to look at the draft in detail.
Tenancy enforcement officer Julie Fuller said: "The new agreement will be easier to understand and more user- friendly, and it will also prove to be easier to enforce."
The draft agreement is being held at Old Bank Chamber, in Bishop Auckland Market Place, Woodhouse Close Neighbourhood Office and Crook Civic Centre, where there are suggestion forms for comments.
Comments, which must be submitted by February 11, can be made to Julie Fuller on (01388) 765555 extension 203.
