POLICE are urging a man missing from home for more than two weeks to contact them.
Alan Bernard Jackson, 47, of David Terrace, Bowburn, near Durham City, was last seen in the village post office on January 9.
Mr Jackson, originally from Bournemouth, is unemployed and lives alone.
Sergeant Paul Etherington, of Bowburn police, said: "He has a history of psychiatric problems and depression and for that reason we fear for his safety.
"We would like him, or anyone who may have seen him recently, to contact us.''
