STAFF and pupils were celebrating at an east Cleveland school after it was praised in an inspectors' report.
The Ofsted survey, of St Peter's Church of England Primary School, Brotton, described it as a good school, which was continuing to improve.
"It provides pupils with a wide range of learning opportunities and the teaching is good," said the report.
Headteacher John Stinson said: "The report reflected the effort that pupils, staff, governors and parents put into making St Peter's a good school. Everybody was very pleased with the findings of the inspection team."
The report said that the school had made good overall improvement since its last inspection, in March 1997.
Inspectors said: "There is a better planned curriculum that offers more opportunities for pupils to learn in more varied ways and to participate in after-school clubs."
Pupils' attitudes, behaviour and personal development were all described as very good.
Inspectors also praised the school's provision for pupils with special educational needs.
