PLANS to erect a mobile phone mast look likely to be approved, despite the concerns of parents.
BT Cellnet has applied to Stockton Borough Council for permission to site the 12.5m pole on the grass verge in Greens Lane, Hartburn, Stockton.
A number of schools and the Elmwood Youth and Community Centre, are near the site. Parents are concerned that there will be a possible health risk to children and the mast will entice youngsters to climb it.
