SHOPPERS will have the chance to improve golfing skills at coaching sessions with a difference.
The MetroCentre, near Gateshead, is hosting the free sessions in the Town Square, next to House of Fraser, on Saturday.
Throughout the day, coaching will be given by local golf pro and county coach, Alan Hartley, while equipment will be supplied by club manufacturers Callaway.
Lasting 15 minutes, individual coaching sessions can be booked on the day. Beginners also have the chance to join group classes led by golf professional Chris Jones. Further advice will be given by England school international Emily Lowther
