A VILLAGE art group is celebrating after being awarded a grant to expand its activities.
Fishburn Art Group was formed three years ago.
The group has now been given £2,580 by Northern Arts, to help fund art workshops and exhibitions.
Secretary Bob Waller said: "This money will enable us to get professional artists in to run the workshops to give us tuition in different techniques."
The award follows a grant of £3,500 from the National Lottery Awards for All programme, which has helped the group distribute work to doctors' surgeries, community centres, village halls and old people's homes in Fishburn and nearby villages.
The group meets every Monday, from 10am to noon, at Fishburn Youth and Community Centre
