HOURS of rehearsals will end with a huge party performance next week for 30 musicians from learning disability day care centres in the Wear Valley and Sedgefield areas.
A compact disc recorded at weekly group workshops held over the winter months will be given out at Wednesday's event, in Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
Wear Valley District Council, Sedgefield Borough Council and County Durham Care funded artists from Music North Plus to work with the group on Fridays at Greenfields Community School, Newton Aycliffe.
Many of the workshops were led by Jilly Love, who sings and plays the guitar and percussion instruments.
The Jane Laurence Trio will open the event, which starts at 11.45am.
