TWO men made off with £20,000 in a post office raid.
The two men entered Redhill Road post office, on Stockton's Roseworth estate, at 10.15am yesterday and threatened staff.
One of them went around the back of the counter and took money boxes from the safe, while the other kept watch.
They then ran off towards the Roseworth pub with about £20,000 in cash.
Although not hurt, the female staff were shocked and upset by the incident. It is also believed the men were armed.
Detective Sergeant Ian Bedford, from Stockton CID, said: "All three women were very brave, but were no match for the two men.
"A few people who saw the incident have come forward, but there must be more witnesses and we would urge them to get in touch."
