TOWN councillors at Helmsley are seeking funds and ideas to give approaches to the market town a facelift.
Lord Feversham, chairman of the town council, said: "We want to see how we can improve the three entrances into the town, from Thirsk, Stokesley and Scarborough, to give a more friendly appeal to our visitors".
New name signs set on age old stones or millwheels, and floral displays, are among suggestions. Residents are to be asked for their views
