PLANS are being considered to extend a tree planting scheme in an east Cleveland village.
Upleatham Women's Institute carried out a successful scheme to get groups and people to sponsor plants as part of the village's Millennium celebrations.
Now, there are plans to develop the scheme and extend the original area.
The WI is calling for members, family and friends to monitor the types of wildflower in the planted area, known as Millennium Copse, over the summer before the next round of planting takes place, scheduled for this November.
Anyone who wants to help is asked to call Ruth Steere, on (01287) 625182.
