THE trial of a man accused of sexually abusing boys began at Teesside Crown Court yesterday.
Russel Hall, 44, of East Terrace, Hesleden, east Durham, denies nine charges of indecent assault against a male. The charges relate to three boys.
Shaun Dodds, prosecuting, alleged Mr Hall had inappropriately touched the children and had threatened violence if they told anyone.
The children gave evidence over a video link yesterday. One child, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told the jury Mr Hall had placed a hand over his mouth when he indecently assaulted him.
The trial continues.
